What I find offensive about this issue isn't the Lowe's project. Its the fact that the County of Tuolumne got on its high horse and egotistically banned big block construction for the Home Depot project. Then the city allowed the Lowe's project at the site of the old Sanguinetti Slaughter house. The county then had the adacity to complain that because the city didn't opt-in to a big block ordinance to restrict large commercial development that the city would be at an "un-fair" competitive advantage. That sounds like their power trip comming back to bite the in the county in the butt.
